Jeff Stone MSW, LISW-S is the founder and Clinical therapist of Stone Counseling Services. Mr. Stone is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has over 8 years of experience in community engagement and counseling services in the Columbus area. These settings include outpatient, residential, foster care, juvenile detention, group homes and supervising mental health agencies. Mr. Stone’s passion is the development of youth and young adults which cultivated his motto of “watering the seed.” He collaborates with clients and their families to develop individualized goals so they can receive the nourishment they need to grow a positive self- concept.  Mr. Stone has noticed throughout his experience that societal pressures, peer pressure and unhealthy dynamics with others in the home, community and school settings have caused youth to rebel, often  both internally  and externally. Consequences of these behaviors can lead to impaired critical thinking skills, irregulated emotions and a lack of optimism of one’s ability to overcome barriers to a successful future. Mr. Stone utilizes therapeutic interventions to empower clients and encourage  them to recognize their untapped potential.
